Films for the Planet is project of Compathos, an arts and media – 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit.  All donations are fully tax-deductible.

• Films for the Planet supports the work of indie artists and filmmakers working in the philanthropic, environmental and social impact sectors.  As a nonprofit, we do not benefit from the pay-per-view proceeds, but act in a promotional capacity connecting people to films that will assist them in their journey as catalysts for change.

• You can support Compathos and Films for the Planet through tax deductible donations via PayPal Giving (no fee, general fund), PayPal (2.2% processing fee, allowing for one-time, reoccurring and specific program or event donations). Your donation supports Films for the Planet’s operations, educational outreach, film production, grants for artists and filmmakers, and our Media Internship and Fiscal Sponsorship programs. Your support helps us maintain and expand our library of educational films and materials, and continue to produce our streaming film events free of charge.

• We are proud to have earned one Gold and three Platinum GuideStar Seals of Transparency, the highest level of recognition offered by GuideStar, the world’s largest source of nonprofit information.
• We are a verified nonprofit at Indiegogo and Mightycause P2P crowdfunding platform. You can launch a tax deductible P2P crowdfunding campaign on Mightycause for causes of your choice as they relate to specific films.

• Become a Partner.  We are seeking partnerships with media producers, communities, socially responsible organizations and corporate sponsors. We partner with individuals, organizations and large-scale networks to help them target aligned audiences and build community by hosting their own screenings, conversations, panels, and fundraisers. Our themed programs are also ready-made for student, educator and community learning and collaborative environments.
