Welcome to a transformative opportunity to align your organization or project with a movement that’s shaping the future. Films for the Planet invites you to become a partner with our annual signature event, a unique experience that combines the emotive power of storytelling through film to spark meaningful social impact and community engagement.

Brief Overview:

What would a food system that supports both people and the planet look like? The Groundswell Uprising Film & Speaker Series aims to find answers to this question. This film series is a curated selection of documentaries that explore alternative, regenerative models of agriculture that are aiming to revolutionize our food system and working to heal our planet.

Each film offers a unique perspective on regenerative agriculture and soil health as it applies to human and planetary health.

Objective:

Planetary Health is a vital concept that underscores the intrinsic link between the well-being of our planet and the health of its inhabitants. Our film series delves into this interconnectedness, highlighting regenerative agriculture and regeneratively grown food as a positive path forward.

At Films for the Planet we believe that organizations have a unique story to tell. From restoring soil health, protecting wildlife habitat to regenerating groundwater, people world-over are taking a stand for nature positive land management practices that result in healthier individuals and communities.

According to a study conducted by the Kiss the Ground organization, only 4% of US adults are aware of the significance of regenerative agriculture. Our objective is to educate the public on the value of regenerative farming methods and the health of our soil as it relates to human and planetary health. These approaches address issues such as our broken food system, world-wide health crisis, and environmental degradation. By implementing practices that restore the Earth’s ecosystems, we can develop solutions that will protect the planet and ensure a healthier future for generations to come.
